We are looking at doing another shirt drive which goes to supporting our region and making you look great! You've probably seen our SC&T Region shirts worn by many of our Rovers and now is your chance to grab one! Shirts are $30 each and come in sizes S-XXL. Or if you want to buy region gear in a different form we will also be selling SC&T Rovers stubby holders for $8 each! Bargain! Stubby holders will soon be available for purchase at RRC's and at our SC&T Moot.

If you would to try on the shirt sizes before you buy, contact Rosie O'Meley (email below).

WWG North XIV - STAR WARS - The Sith Unleashed

Coming to Cataract Scout Park on the 22nd & 23rd November 2014.

Forms and Information Packs are available on the Weekend Wide Game website (www.widegame.com.au). Early Bird Registrations are now closed and Catering is no longer available (for late registrations).

The Weekend Wide Game Committee requires Rovers to assist in the running of various bases as well as tasks to assist in the running of the event. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! This is also a great activity for Rovers to liaise with Venturer Units and show them what Rovering is all about!

If you have any questions, contact Ben Nichols (email below).

Region Canyoning Weekend

We will be headed to Mount Wilson in the Blue Mountains for a weekend of Canyoning over the 6th and 7th of December. Whether you have no experience at all, have a number of canyons under your belt, or fit somewhere in between, all and sundry are welcome to come along. We will be providing canyons ranging from a leisurely li-lo float down the Wollangamabe River through to canyons with multiple abseils. There is also the option just to come along and camp, there is no need to actually go canyoning. If you need any further details check out the Facebook Event (linked in 'Upcoming Events') or contact Greg.

Commissioner's Corner

I am just back from a fantastic trip to Italy, France and Turkey. This involved walking tours covering three weeks and about 400km as well as a week on a canal boat in the south of France!  Great stuff – and the sort of thing you should look forward to in years yet to come!

I thank Greg for ‘holding the fort’ in my absence – particularly for a big effort in chasing crews to get on with the important issue of  Child Safe Scouting. We all need to take this very seriously.

I had some internet access but not regularly while away and I arrived home to 600 plus emails. I have now been through them and am beginning to catch up with the issues and those things on the agenda for the near future.  There’s quite a bit so please be patient as I continue to get this and other life issues back in order.

My garage already contains a number of WWG contraptions and constructions and I know that I have some more to construct too!

I look forward to seeing quite a few of you at RRC and also in Goulburn in December.
